We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.9 H1 R6 L Q: f7 ?! [* [

DUTIES:

9 E. m+ w7 o/ Z' G- |• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
" ~ K* B8 @6 L. H1 ^2 h$ m$ p( m B• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.3 X l! Q h3 q
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible- O% x/ T2 e$ g6 ?6 H- k
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.$ G7 z) n+ {: D$ i! I x% w9 w

# l: ^: q* H5 r' Y• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
3 J) A8 m- {) W, ^ |• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
6 s- b/ \7 `) X h8 i# k2 Z4 M• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
* I9 s8 V& Q2 w [& {4 ^# z8 ]9 I• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers, M8 S1 T( j" h# \
