昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:

On March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor2 f& h: {1 ?7 e5 d8 q
mark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.3 R; I/ |. }, D# a' d: U4 Q7 S8 i
% Q) M1 `# k# W* F+ e! i' u- s4 WThe increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are5 g9 n' t9 s# P( h
products from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’( s7 R: F) a# e: Q& ]/ G
gates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per
5 ~; a5 f& G8 U$ v @) A1 b2 Alitre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature
. m0 D, S1 l/ G" [of Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that( Z( g2 O: b: v2 I
are among the lowest in the country.5 h) j0 B' s+ ]

Some of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:
+ _5 ^* Q# [, \+ \% Q9 d! f. i· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.

· Wine: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
