v) @9 i; s3 I+ UEDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.

4 ]. w% {" X4 H C1 h- ]The item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.1 n Y9 S' a: Z5 y, D+ J A
# d3 v- i7 P/ EPolice evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.1 [' g8 m1 C- ~: ~2 y
