Plant Payroll/AP

North West Edmonton

Your job responsibilities will include:
•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
" x! ^3 Z  o6 ^- k•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
' l$ H# q; M5 B+ f  u6 E/ E6 l, o$ p•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
, d0 e$ V* e7 F  F8 M7 y8 b% V" T- q•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
•Perform AP Invoice matching
& U' Q6 L3 Z8 ~# y•Prepare month-end AP accrual

% M5 i- o' u% PThe ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
