In whatever galaxy,                                               September 29th 2006,
I believe there must be creatures like ourselves

Poets
2 Z  }$ y" v1 N6 A# A1 SBuilders of canoes,
+ |5 `' a8 K& GBlack smiths

- p7 _  q9 l2 A7 KRisk takers,
2 U! i" i1 j8 m/ f5 bMy mind is full of curiosity and wonder
/ v  |( P( i; g) C0 p: wAs I think of what could be.

I wonder what it means to be
I looked up at the star and smiled
They flashed as they have heard all I have read.

Here am I,

Legs in a bonfire,
$ X: W  j* V9 f- C4 ~8 x) `Head in the sky
" R- u* j( z, L. o" CLonely, with the feel of betray
Heart empty and hollow
Alone I stand
I am useless to all
5 H/ A- W& G5 m. |6 s, v. ~But I wish I were a dove
Giving myself to the world, to the fire
1 n' z; L3 c" lI feel like burning myself in to dust and fly with the wind
$ p6 Y. e/ c/ TI sent prayers to my god
Though he does not answer
He bless me with the gift of hope
