& c; V B3 J2 P4 g$ n; w* J8 Y(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
S* U$ R# r- T6 Uattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of ; x: X& W/ c" v+ @
information that will make your transition to the University community 4 U9 X6 _ C' s# o* h
more successful.

: I' q, ~4 a% z5 Uof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
2 k+ }9 L; t8 }6 flook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
# a" y; W% ^2 z! B9 Uof directional information.% ]' _7 g X9 v$ j8 W

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
& \0 _0 I0 M$ l+ }4 |- B6 U2 Pactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 3 d% k! a# ?- d) k
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
9 ~9 ~2 e$ |2 B( z6 R; J$ Pevening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 9 g$ B6 Z z. }1 m" j+ l
Hawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
1 x( {# }1 b+ h* d3 U* ` F, f. pSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 2 o5 f" S* {- p5 S" U
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

1 A7 w5 T: Y% m8 Z* z* wBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 1 r3 U0 I9 N9 F, e. [! m6 U- H% o- W
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 0 r# y/ w9 j* x' S! q
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
/ I' T& b2 X+ l5 F/ H+ O) }ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
- R# W2 O$ I" f( b( Xyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece + e X) Y- R: X
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
& I7 t! b( q3 B/ T3 SComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic * E8 u7 X( ?1 ^, q) W4 C
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
/ S7 h& ]3 a2 x9 S7 m4 Hbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the J& j/ M2 o* r/ L* R1 w& ]
two days of Orientation).
