Position Summary:
0 g. t0 T% l* O. bTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

2 g) [+ N" N0 U3 W7 m0 M; U    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
: j( f* [+ ?2 }) H- v+ Y. T5 ]" v) O2 ]    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
' p  q" E0 @/ B  K& d4 C    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
( @1 v" c. ^5 V( ], X" t; L0 J    Actively participate in training initiatives

# H( G2 X( J2 XThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  a5 V& V+ }7 |/ x' i$ Y: g' O    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
/ }1 a# i3 Q4 L% j, M    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
0 L( e% b( v' T. J    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
