Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales8 ~) L. w5 ~% v. g) Q: \) K# K

# V a! `8 r* K$ ^/ z3 \% ~& B
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
+ ~# l6 y; \% i
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

) [* b7 M* F: x3 D• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.9 r7 Q) }; U% X+ E

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.
$ R9 p/ f2 @! p: C3 b7 l: z$ B* s
• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.
! e# z& [: u$ p; @* h w4 V
• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

8 A- j! B( E; w! U3 R* x7 J• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

Job Qualifications
# i4 H9 {( W( f% N4 r( L. e+ \# l• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

( ^7 F% B6 i/ f: k8 S• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

) x5 \0 r' j- Q; d- ]• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

3 h8 p) Q/ d0 q, x• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

0 L8 z& ?: h6 w4 }• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.5 e5 h4 p z) w# y4 d

• Travel within the assigned region.

9 ]/ b$ t1 X! i8 g$ o% U• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
