Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales% a; k6 C; n9 o- p1 z: W

Key Responsibilities:
2 D, a& x* z8 A+ Q& @+ a
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 
) j6 R( B' M$ O! e6 K
• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.
# P, P5 p' i6 P! R2 U4 G
• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year., @% `& X# C# C# \6 s: m/ v

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.3 w9 |% B) }" }

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.8 k/ V/ R1 Y8 x7 [9 ^) M4 X

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.' @8 y8 ^% _1 w2 x; L4 J

• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin

• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
! c& Q+ Y8 Z4 b; m [& z
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

* E Z( B |. i& t. {9 t. l2 b• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
$ `8 Z) @4 C2 r9 w1 }3 y+ {1 M
• Travel within the assigned region.
