我一个女高中同学，29岁，人长的漂亮，时尚，身材苗条，170身高左右。单身妈妈，带着一个2岁的小女孩，孩子非常漂亮可爱，是我见过的最漂亮的小女孩。
目前在温哥华有工作，在温哥华有套公寓和新车。理想对象是40岁以内男士，身高最好170以上，相貌要求无所谓，经济条件只要不是太差就行，只要人有上进心，工作好坏没关系。脾气性格不是太坏就好，最好没有抽烟酗酒等嗜好。如果两人合得来，她可以搬来埃德蒙顿或者男方搬去温哥华.(这是后话了。。）

just kidding. don't take it seriously. I am always positive.

But seriously, this is not China, and so marrying a young lady with a little girl is great. It does save a lot of time and energy. If I were the lucky guy, I will be more than happy to have a try.

There is something to do with the society where the kid grows up. In China, since the kid has a chance to go back to the other parent and grandparents on the other parent side and is 'educated' by relatives, other neighbours and so on, the kid might think a biological parent is more important and beloved than a step parent. But here in Canada, not many people surrounding the kid would like to say so and neither does the kid have much chance to stay with relatives.

In your friend's case, if she is the only legal guardian, this is the best! Plus, the little kid is just 2 years old, the kid will forget everything that happen during her first four or five years.

A reminder: If your friend's ex-husband is also a legal guardian, the court order may not allow your friend together with her daughter to move to another city far away from Vancouver without the approval from her ex-husband because it may stop the kid's father from seeing the kid regularly.
