Key Responsibilities are as follows:- X- N4 u' M2 S$ r
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
7 W' S3 ]9 w I5 C$ ?5 C1 E•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies. V, Z$ h# x& P( ?
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting4 \ N8 p, L& a# G* K5 r
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.' D9 K9 `' x1 [
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential. N9 s2 x' B5 ~( L1 n

! `/ e. H+ ?9 j+ j; `# W•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;6 L1 r* O& D7 X: `; i
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;5 o; X4 n# D( ?; {+ Y
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
% C) U& [ y y" `8 o- R•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 8 e% @8 b, e$ v
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.# d. M! h/ @7 L' {
