Key Responsibilities are as follows:. _0 u, z+ x' ^$ o( l, [
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
' a) j2 R/ p; L: E•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies0 [2 |( F- u) G D! C- f
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting; k3 U0 h5 U; ^1 f; k
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
) X0 Z; g8 W& p8 V' z( j. b+ {% r8 I•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:8 f2 d9 X7 B" Y9 L( E8 P/ `) J4 i! R
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
% }4 E6 i i: a•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;8 y& r, l. `, Q4 V3 I
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
8 l0 |; S) b2 h! g' [•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
. F; Z" R/ w5 J- z1 V" `•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
