This position reports directly to the District Program Manager

Key Responsibilities are as follows:6 c5 n+ F# j# w8 F/ N. Z( z$ ~2 ^
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services ' K8 ?. {+ F" L: U7 W+ N
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies1 |( K# D$ ?# L" Y+ K
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
& i: \6 M! t! t; Y, t6 _•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.7 I5 f! ]. l8 x  R
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential7 a* V# x" D2 b5 K$ Z' X. X! M

Qualifications:5 V! ^  ]( I; I. |$ [! N
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;' @9 N1 {- ?# ]8 P; W
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;8 B( J- i  b/ X" r, I" V
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;: e, P6 v: l% A: T) C) I, }5 M5 C
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential & |- u! s+ S: b- u7 {) B$ c
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.# f3 L  F& y3 Z* R3 f2 h
