Key Responsibilities are as follows:
' J% j; E& W6 F9 X•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services / Y& C, C! `4 L, h+ X/ J1 @
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
3 D4 S( |( \7 a1 @& a" m5 B•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
' u3 c0 [+ E$ l. V•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
& ]$ ]9 x$ x* r% K+ T•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:/ q9 p7 t5 W5 v% W6 J+ I
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
& x1 `. O7 d% G9 h; D/ ?•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;6 @: q1 ^- l' T1 d5 U
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;& Q/ V/ r8 l& u/ v( n; }
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
3 H6 E$ `% M" j•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
