Key Responsibilities are as follows:
; g3 J! k, C7 {•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services ) ?! n5 `$ U) }8 P& c+ w* a
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
$ _9 y; t4 M# Q. q! _9 _•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
7 v1 [/ ]6 s5 g6 a" S•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
+ h3 D8 k! [& \/ Q J•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
; x! R3 {7 N" P1 \4 @0 [0 R•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;- Y+ K! }+ n* z& f y7 d H
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;' K# m2 R/ j# ^4 ^) Z( W: N
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
5 b6 w, D: u9 L' ~; J }•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
; Y* o/ _- J8 s5 g3 x6 Z/ l5 `•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
