This position reports directly to the District Program Manager9 K: p7 P7 {, U# v% A
( M- d& \9 m: `9 u' c; |Key Responsibilities are as follows:
* K4 P' }% q5 \! l [& ~: G6 p•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services - e. l- ^% j! }& U
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

B- P! r1 o R3 D {- O•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting& j$ w) r0 F( t6 W0 R: A
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
S- i1 o; d7 U5 a8 ? X•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential7 A/ D4 ^2 \' J4 B7 u

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;. c6 W, s& Y/ w N3 R1 P: ^
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
0 s8 D2 ~; W* n# o1 U9 } A! Z•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
, W0 n0 `) h9 ^•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 1 R! d2 S5 i% g7 x8 T' d' B* o
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.) O$ ?% T; O' i4 r4 n. _" F
