Key Responsibilities are as follows:% y7 N" r0 D/ F- h" i8 K
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
, h8 I& A5 ]8 Z4 L•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies% E$ b' B4 O9 r2 S& s. {
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting: F7 g4 w- g) v
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
: Q" Q* \7 N9 }•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential* e( K9 c. {/ F0 ?3 \" H

Qualifications:
4 E6 \1 e! c; `: d8 j0 j' U•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;( `: K! p* I; S$ Y
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;% q0 P& P3 q$ |% V$ A1 R
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;; C. [* F3 X0 d7 C3 i0 `0 z3 v
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential * W6 Y( P# l. ^$ Q. P
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
