Key Responsibilities are as follows:
1 U" v9 Z% N6 Y! {5 Y' N•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
$ X8 U, g6 u7 H8 H' q•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies: \/ }9 q( {1 ]; M9 H/ o7 P) Z
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting" Z5 }9 W# ^ p* z: }$ v0 u
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.: N) y$ y- m% c! j
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:. [' \$ m' X# r
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;4 K. x1 c# l, K$ S
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
; b) x9 ?3 L) T1 b•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
3 H9 \0 G- C- ] o/ \+ f* B, F•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
5 U5 G) T, S+ c. d, K/ e7 \5 e/ ] h+ ?* w•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
