Position Overview:
$ R" f6 r; H& W! fTo provide an accurate estimate of the full construction cost to perform the field or modular work as required with consideration of all risks and commercial obligations., C% Q$ t% G+ a, J4 g
4 e# j$ N: s" Y3 t# a/ A# TResponsibilities
: O4 Z8 M* {# V•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages
: U9 u+ N& p, {4 T s M) ^•Review all aspects of the RFP documents- Q: _; C8 }9 `( n4 T% n0 r- k
•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages7 `) N9 e; f7 p% x; R, g
•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work 4 d: `' E/ ]) s$ H' S* R* p
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing
) o8 M4 g7 i0 E7 m6 e; c9 [•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships% p" V6 A" p) O A' S# k/ D
•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle
" \& x6 T& z* J3 w. }•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator1 f$ x& Q! g( _
•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
