Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

* S/ V' H( s3 }  B' A) JThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
( S/ C; L% {: L" E1 Z7 o. ] Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
7 H* l$ k* [! w0 |/ T/ A, ?3 q Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
& q9 i4 v3 L' {. k% x" Q, D9 \ Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
' Y# ~& E1 {: M  `# v3 E7 L# ^ Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
