Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

6 c( s$ ]* p1 x# I* \+ GWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

# N2 M( p. i" t, I6 n* CThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
& _- C3 ?( L  ]7 B8 H+ r( `5 Y* R Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
% l* I0 A3 k( Q' u  K7 h Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
4 Q8 D: x6 U' F. l- ~ Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
! ?: O3 J# A2 N) w  g4 Q& G& N Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
' n1 `6 |' C1 z' C An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
