Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

  t3 c# \8 t7 e4 ^$ h# LThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
" K( A  f7 O- C, }1 Y Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
9 r2 n6 I( K' @) W* ]$ { Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
& W- U/ D/ I2 R5 N5 T# H Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
; c: Z( x4 k8 ~5 W4 D; O Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
