在保的新车自己换机油会导致保险失效么？

今天刚问过我的dealer，要按维护保养的时间表做维护，包括换机油，如果不做，保修就会失效。自己换的机油，没法子证明啊。

我也是今天问了dealer才知道，机油白买了，还得去退掉。

japanese dealers usually don't allow you DIY during warranty period, you might have to "argue" with the corporate if you do run into issues (they want you to go back to dealer for the bullshit services)
most American dealers, (Detroit Big 3) usually don't really care,
if you want to DIY, just remember to keep engine oil and oil filter's receipts
