Job Description:

• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
: U& l: O7 y# \0 z0 o ~• Oversee hotel security requirements.
$ z4 d& ]; i0 Z! {2 h• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.

• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.

0 F e4 m x6 v/ n* i; w• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.! ~* i2 [* [2 q3 _ y& @. D
• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
( @9 W) q2 c# X( f! x( `• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.

• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
: g) ]3 `8 ?* m# e! H• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. ; I, j* P! y; u7 U& r/ }* }/ W$ O
• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.9 |& K" y+ r6 r& V
• Attend Cluster meetings. & R. `3 {6 ~ r1 a
• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.

• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies4 V1 x' }! Z+ [
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

• Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:& l4 e6 x5 M/ U" e
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property* @; L$ `. \2 p+ V! B5 S
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;$ K& F) w1 ^* z5 a
• Ability to lead and develop;
' }& G+ c1 H+ o0 g2 k J• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;/ V6 D1 }- i+ _0 k/ C! }$ x( B. i/ O6 ]
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

• High level of creativity and innovation;
