Job Description:
8 {' |, z1 P7 L4 \; m5 j3 F- h2 v; D0 t; hTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
( q5 Q* U3 K+ g. U• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
6 l: n% U8 @- X& p" O4 G• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
) k. a0 X! g; U0 U7 d8 x9 I• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
# J5 N8 U& j5 @1 `7 |! \; z0 d• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
( J/ l7 A: X0 p0 b• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
" S# N9 E0 q/ c3 x  P7 s2 T• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;

. E7 L  N4 _8 ?• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
% k# }2 x2 D- ?1 o: ?/ H• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;

6 K- S2 U6 K& ^• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
