Job Description:
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
3 r" B( h# n, V• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
# a3 j/ M# G4 I; X! _& D5 o1 a. M2 L• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
3 U6 }( a2 r+ z' l• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
  |! Z4 W* @' ?* m+ V• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
  v3 _# {+ v: s• Participate in trade shows;
! U, h$ }$ A' }9 x& l. ~' x• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
) |8 _. s9 t- D3 \$ @2 M6 O, Q• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
& c+ Q; `4 h% Q8 G•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
7 }+ l( `! d+ B' E, U" q; I, [; h  c• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
- V+ n: {/ c/ }7 _4 l6 \• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
