/ C8 m( U' E3 A6 e4 h: [" NTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

# ?5 S/ N6 Z1 y/ z• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
- S$ e1 M% K. s+ B& s. N; F• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
  p& N* `" ~! y& C  s) o. C• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
  d& d, G, J( f6 Q( U& w3 h• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
* z& ]7 K3 [8 w9 r• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
& H- O# Y+ k& d  V• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
& a0 [# r' v$ T9 `3 H3 i• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
- c, i2 Y; O6 I5 k• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
3 i% d: r, o* E; T+ n3 A( X% @• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
- Y# ?/ A! `8 ~9 O• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
