Job Description
-promote the Centre and ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
-promote Centre and ISP programs in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
-develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP and Centre
-recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
3 R' _* q9 Q/ M-promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
. T% _2 p# `* w8 M" C3 k, x4 F-outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
& `) F- w0 S' `" s6 X-attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
( N# s% C5 b; `/ s$ s+ b5 C-adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
" \  O$ R9 D. [3 c-report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
-recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
( @7 V, u; L/ F; e-assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications
-degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
-knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
8 Q0 u) a! \3 R& w* Y-good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
-fluent in English and Chinese
9 f2 d* k( c$ C' _; K0 i9 [-good interpersonal and people skills
-valid driver’s license
