) M' ]6 C8 y4 j! \0 ^Location: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

Responsibilities and Tasks
/ G* T6 f3 y0 R( Z  d/ _0 l7 I( y8 x
-        Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment  
& N: N3 _# J% w( e; u, j9 n9 ]& K-        Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements
-        Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
-        Select type and size of pipe required
. @. F, L3 x& w# s-        Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
-        Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
; r% [+ R$ m- \0 e. l5 I4 G-        Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
% z/ `% D5 s2 ~- H-        Test system for leaks using testing equipment
-        Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
4 v) H7 g1 P4 ~; h$ i! ]3 n-        Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system

1 A6 \0 V& [* w+ Y  T, E4 O8 A9 nRequired Qualifications

6 U) W- R, _* v3 [( I; y-        Completion of secondary school
-        Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation
5 C% h% \, s# ?, p0 |) r/ v, c. k-        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
-        Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
-        Pipefitter trade certification is considered an asset
-        Safety tickets are considered an asset
( E- X1 a% f/ h% C-        Valid drivers’ license is an asset
/ Q& p" z8 `/ T3 l8 ?8 @2 S) F-        Interprovincial Red Seal is an asset
-        Valid driver’s license is an asset
