- Y9 {+ N7 s+ A4 J6 O0 g* bLocation: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

2 m$ L( m! o$ @2 `/ }0 nResponsibilities and Tasks
  C0 b8 x9 a: G* Y1 w
-        Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment  
; y" P! c$ L5 E& S% G5 Y2 O: v4 k-        Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements
-        Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
-        Select type and size of pipe required
-        Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
  W* l8 O# ?  U. i. ^  k/ j4 o-        Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
-        Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
! G2 s# ~5 e, R-        Test system for leaks using testing equipment
-        Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
-        Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system

Required Qualifications

-        Completion of secondary school
-        Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation
-        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

-        Pipefitter trade certification is considered an asset
! B7 j% \) T5 K-        Safety tickets are considered an asset
/ v# V. w. n- ]/ w2 U+ I' h# t-        Valid drivers’ license is an asset

-        Valid driver’s license is an asset
