Work under the direction of the Geomechanics and Gridding Team Lead to implement new and maintain existing geomechanics functionality.
7 F* v8 M' U; S7 |Work with User Experience, Quality Assurance, and other resources in integrated development teams to ensure new geomechanics functionality is available to users appropriately.1 u, d5 a3 x9 \0 n/ U
Follow established team software development procedures for design, coding, testing and other activities.
$ U1 h! S; {9 oStay current on new technologies as they relate to Geomechanics development.3 B4 G; Z* V/ f& g

Qualifications:. }6 L) _: R( U) F @8 N
& a* f+ v8 k) b Familiarity with deformation and failure of porous media. ) S" _! c4 L: o3 m" e1 x
Experience in the petroleum industry6 v! a* w* n8 [" r: ?+ U2 p+ t
Experience programming in C# or C++.6 Z8 w | n* u. j+ X$ K
Experience with Agile development methodologies.) T" c5 Q: I( F" a* Y$ Z2 w( T# t
Good organizational skills
2 ]/ G. q) F5 h- P. }Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Education:

* k9 O1 Z8 G2 I1 M6 u/ V; G3 k1 d; y A doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Biophysics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or other applicable degree$ C- q7 y- E2 |; D% N; D
Experience:* v" J- D* d5 R. V+ o7 y
0 L, L- a" e- N- l At least 3 year of related experience (salary commensurate with experience)
8 ?4 o. `7 T/ y- R5 F& k: q All levels of experience will be considered
