Development Announcement?
2 ]9 W, l8 |7 @6 Q+ Q1 LI’m told it’s possible we’ll see an “in development” announcement sometime in 2012 for a large megapixel DSLR from Canon. I have heard both 39mp and 46mp prototype(s) are out in the field.6 h2 ?* M& G m: C1 t k2 K* k) K
1 E- K: }1 ]6 z2 B, a; L, rIn development announcements seem to be getting more popular with Canon and their high end products. As we’ve seen from the EOS-1D C and EF 200-400 f/4L IS 1.4X, it seems to allow them a lot of latitude in testing and helps with public relations. It also stops sites like this speculating on arrival of new products. :)+ T& Z6 ` K1 N! P2 `+ t- O& f
