Development Announcement?
* d4 J9 u0 k4 R4 F9 oI’m told it’s possible we’ll see an “in development” announcement sometime in 2012 for a large megapixel DSLR from Canon. I have heard both 39mp and 46mp prototype(s) are out in the field.$ w- d5 Q8 N( f+ B- X! A6 A( C

In development announcements seem to be getting more popular with Canon and their high end products. As we’ve seen from the EOS-1D C and EF 200-400 f/4L IS 1.4X, it seems to allow them a lot of latitude in testing and helps with public relations. It also stops sites like this speculating on arrival of new products. :)) U! X* N+ z- `$ V1 ?+ g
