Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
1 `) @% U+ U) E- }• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST9 r' |/ K+ j1 O8 [8 J+ K
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
% A4 [1 r0 S" p. W7 h7 k, D1 k; U• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter( k. c" R. e7 b v- M; o4 u) S
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents6 T, z. F, m. v* ^" N$ f
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker* c" @+ d2 d) A6 _/ f: G4 G2 [
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
7 X, C5 D( O! |2 E• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters3 b; W7 W: G* |0 ^6 M! G

• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Good English writing and oral communication skills" t' T% ?9 F t1 B/ N% s
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients j5 d7 M% q3 c4 t
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience & C% X2 v" Q+ z m
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
