Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker

U2 K9 \Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:
( I& T I' Y0 k• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person7 R5 B- Z! Y' }( ], v, j: {
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST( o0 E2 M0 i* j/ W
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately7 K! l. U9 B. g3 V( Q
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
, {8 j+ b! K. u6 [• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents0 R1 o7 x" f+ H# m2 m8 [6 k- Q
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
; \: u- ?; s/ W• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

• Maintain front counter service files

h0 [3 X* C @6 N/ W• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person9 p' G# s9 f, v
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset7 q& T$ s) _7 |0 G& o/ q7 `
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
# w' j$ Z/ j* J" Y- b# `6 `2 v- j• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
( y( a; J& x6 }5 b. s3 P• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook
) P5 M; E" l/ z4 G5 d• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

' J" Y9 z4 m3 |• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 1 t. H0 r3 g' K, z
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment6 C' |$ H7 G* O% j: `
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism5 [( h, a: K# D" G
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision$ B/ _: C) K& a( R
