Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. k$ ~- C1 S1 m$ a

Key Responsibilities:
) M( E6 c, _: R7 e1 N3 @• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
# \. r) m9 j1 ` n• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
( r" K# g' R$ M• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
) ?/ q$ m% }# W" v• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
* w' `$ t" s) H, C& `4 H. U• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents* ~3 Z; y% {4 E# b
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Maintain front counter service files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
; o- l, [+ f8 O7 |• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
+ u! S0 s8 F2 Y) v• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
7 A$ O% w( ]/ B7 g% @, t3 \' d• Good English writing and oral communication skills: k$ l+ }! m4 f! f) R3 z
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
+ n: O$ T, D: ?8 ^) B3 Y9 Z• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook- n3 ?. |: w6 O0 C
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment4 ?" i b2 A) A0 j6 u
• Knowledge of immigrant services

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience + _. f: I+ o; h9 P- J4 E m
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
2 L( F' G# ~2 R0 q% K) u• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
