•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities
* p2 L* U8 Y4 J( {8 x6 s
•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

( g* [' E: [9 ?, z•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

. m3 Q8 K9 Q$ p( [2 x. u; v+ w5 I•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

1 i) Y7 D  X9 E; f- |•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.

•        have the equivalent of a Canadian bachelor’s degree and a completed education credential assessment
•        have at least 3 years of international work experience in their field
•        have little or no career related Canadian work experience
•        have been in Canada for less than 3 years
