This “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support
3 a r {. a( [* D1 w/ ltheir child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for
8 q5 A1 \7 M" F* D" b G Q5 Hchildren that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an3 G1 C( a7 j" W$ F
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It
9 w- x4 Q) `( Z' e8 b3 R3 Eencourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,/ {! \) o- k. f
fun, and supportive environment.! o; |: W, P5 o7 }7 n- i
Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No3 ~( Z$ K: f" h Z% e4 i, H
registration is required; a snack will be provided.$ y( p* {* U% \
