Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

! B2 ?1 f" ?3 G* X6 u" C•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
" ]" Y+ d, b# j& p  ?, \•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
9 b! Z- d* t( M) C6 v$ u) V•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
7 U6 D6 Q2 M. `! I; x•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
9 n9 ?: I& Z( A/ Q! R% [•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
" B  f' {) y4 s  k0 T0 s•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
  V7 n7 I3 S) L- b" ]' G•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
1 o0 H$ X* e; |" Y•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
5 K. _7 ]% J. S' Y& b# G2 X•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
