Main duties:
•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
! k' Q' e; ]& R: J, w•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
! {0 K' U' B# D7 R•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
6 K7 N, X: d* W8 [3 w: t•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
. n5 V0 f7 ^" w: w" q' g•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
/ T  b  k! ?; u4 J0 ^/ W" l+ z•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
$ ~3 Z2 ?: V% g. S/ N& Q•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
7 V* |& g# ]) I" U•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

•        Completion of secondary education is required
2 D" N6 Q7 }: J. C# W1 [  h6 T•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
