# L. G! |, l) gEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:7 u2 Z# H) M S
1) Any bodily injury or death;! F, B' G' n) c9 G% _
2) A Hit-and-Run;5 N% Y$ @( L: e
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
7 b! i/ y9 V; q7 x* p2 |- p4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
. Q* q% p) Y' m& b+ d5) An out-of-province vehicle.3 X$ A) V& {+ P
2 T2 J4 s- e, k! M- ~4 XNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters.
