Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

Key Responsibilities:
" m4 O; n" _7 w ?0 A- g• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
T9 M' N; C3 e8 V* |9 ?6 K4 ~• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
& F3 u/ K& W: M7 A• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately, T5 O J6 k) a5 h3 A. k% v
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter" q/ t2 ?. T! y
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
, w/ E$ f0 G- ^! Q' U• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events5 g. E. |2 S5 E8 y; ]8 N, f( L
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

• Maintain front counter service files

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person, V% f7 ^) @0 ?" l0 i" U7 ~
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset. V$ i/ d* X. f, j* ?2 M) O7 p: d
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
$ x2 L) i0 P% `/ } a. h• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients0 n9 w* c) I0 N* X7 G. }
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:! t% m/ C2 C/ r
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience & [ y! Q0 F4 n, q3 P7 b8 o" z
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment* d* w8 |- t' Q% X- B/ E& r
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
+ f- ]9 j# N, [' ^6 f5 ^! g& l• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
