Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker- b5 \/ h& Y) B" [" q

Position Summary:
' ~6 ^% k) ~2 M4 O" ]6 }& o5 RWithin the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

1 `/ J/ r z2 F• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person( S7 `$ o# p( V; d# n, A
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST* ^1 t/ h/ R. o& O# B5 ^4 i
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately, C% ~3 l9 |5 m# h) r
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter- ?0 o; C5 f1 W. Q/ u! J
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents9 Q$ P) S8 `# O/ ]
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
* @. j* E) h: S, _• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
& j6 ]' v, j( l" Q• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events# Y3 J) d, ~: i' {, f) z$ V
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean ?* d: G3 e! s9 ]
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters% d. m4 j& h! p) R
• Maintain front counter service files$ F0 U4 `5 t; j
• Perform general office duties as assigned+ N0 ]2 k% v6 }7 m$ T" x3 h: ~
• Report to ISP Program Manager

4 T. @. w/ W2 w3 Y, C4 xKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
G0 i2 A( R! g' V6 @• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
. e! [# ?& Y1 ]• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset0 r; J2 @, E6 [1 q, F
• Good English writing and oral communication skills, {; A0 [" K" X' [5 b) _* C
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
$ N( E9 a5 E- G, y9 V' ]4 d6 U( b2 {• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook' d/ \- F0 J/ R9 A
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:5 h4 b3 m8 v+ w, N1 Y# U
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience & W# z1 k3 x# N5 X. |+ }: B6 k
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment9 q# T0 O/ h0 h% J! \* v
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism& D/ }" |: [8 w; k( V- I" z
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision+ J9 N: r3 Q5 d5 _& b r% q/ ?
