now inside a phenomenal, incredibly responsive Nikon machine. At 36.33 t& {+ J/ V& ]! w1 C' c
megapixels, the D800 produces unprecedented image quality and resolution* Q/ |3 y$ n3 _3 _6 N
within a body that boasts revolutionary technological advances. The 3D color

5 u2 t! S ?) L! ~in low light are just a few features that are glaring improvements. The D800
9 r7 X6 C: S1 f' I, ~' n& T7 u Qallows me to concentrate on the light, the composition and my subject

was traditionally captured with medium-format equipment for maximum

convenience. Now, my wedding portraiture will have a depth it’s never shown
# X" v0 v+ ^3 ?+ }, Nbefore, and my style of shooting will be enhanced rather than compromised,

/ |$ v! V, |0 q5 p+ nWhen I’m shooting beauty and jewelry in the studio or fashion on location,
; H/ [: K! Y& l# j36.3 megapixels changes the industry standard: in image quality, dynamic
+ M. k: D' M" u3 N9 prange, color rendering and the final print. The detail from the D800 produces/ B+ m* r I8 a$ Z3 Y+ q
the look of a medium-format camera, but gives me the feel and response of a

also feeling lighter and smaller than previous high-resolution Nikons. New" L/ l1 }: ~! F% v1 ]* Q& y
cameras always inspire me to test and explore, and all the useful features
) Y& k4 l8 p$ N- E& Ain such a compact package will open huge creative possibilities for my highquality

( Y+ S' W/ w d8 Y" n" V+ k6 ], bTo me, cameras are more like paintbrushes than technology. The goal is

are important, they are not the be-all or end-all. But after a lifetime using
C3 J/ j5 c. k( T$ `countless cameras, I have found a new best friend. It was not love at first
+ z! h9 Z9 H9 h$ h7 K" a$ d! D6 gsight. The sharpness and detail were initially intimidating, exposing my flaws
, F8 t% L/ Q8 I1 l, Wlike never before. Subtle camera movements showed and differences of
: q8 x5 S! n! \ B8 z( n# W! S) Oacuity between aperture choices on various lenses were apparent. But now I
" |& h9 ?" \' |, s) ~1 fam enthralled with this technology. Why? Because the images almost feel as' R: b$ h2 ^; b1 _7 V5 D: c
though they were made with a 4x5 view camera! Special features like timelapse

' e. K. x* ? w! M; C; ?tremendously to the camera’s personality. After spending a month with the

to work at unusual shooting locations and capture images in an exceptional
