Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
: Z5 b/ N& b& u& |: SReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:% p$ n, T, ^- H* S, H
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.) h/ x  u. V. m$ Z% x# D; ]
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.8 M# C5 y) @, r) d2 ]: Q) p+ A8 B
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
0 B' J& F9 h9 B6 M( \•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.* E  m1 U+ `$ f0 F) D
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 3 M( m6 M/ l' v1 E$ l( f$ V
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.( |& I5 {$ \3 i5 V! o1 ?  C4 L
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
& i7 _) \9 W; C7 q•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
! @. ]) j7 ^2 {) S8 ]•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).% i" s7 E; F$ u  d8 w5 u
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
- l3 Q4 W3 ~9 u+ K! N•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.  L3 d! y8 A2 v9 f5 Q
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.  S5 o5 `( ^; `" \4 Q8 I2 K
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.; Y1 T+ [3 N: k8 v( v
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Qualifications
. D2 V* K: Q4 g0 SRequirements:% D* B6 I2 I+ M
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
; [9 k" p; d- }, l/ ]•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. . `* _7 p  b7 t2 U  R# S7 v
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 9 a# t9 n  v8 d7 J7 O
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
8 V# \8 b5 ~# Z' A8 t•        CHRP Designation is an asset.' Z' l: ?2 l/ e7 a
