Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

# H' l5 A& d8 a$ z4 x/ {• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
: a9 Z* p, n! _1 k) e1 {• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.7 A- b. |2 s$ }, C# N
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
9 \! {$ W W @+ x2 ^" v• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.

• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.6 b* \! S% M2 M4 n! F" I* ^
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.6 R3 U$ J4 J3 p% n8 M5 V
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).% e' B* J Q8 P
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
! P/ n1 x% r& f! V4 q* y& q& q1 G• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.; h$ C0 z% c9 |0 t. w
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings. j2 L* m+ g1 b6 b. [' ?* I' p
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications6 A0 p4 V/ O% o: ^ i
Requirements:
( R- ~4 l, {! `* X• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 0 C0 x* b4 j5 h9 g- G
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. # x# S% ?6 _ s9 j9 C
• Strong Union Relations experience required. + L& n" K; v: Z ~1 {7 f( g
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.5 I1 @, P/ B7 c
• CHRP Designation is an asset.
