Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
* N! G; b' q1 F6 \. Y! B6 ^•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
# H' l5 A& d8 a$ z4 x/ {•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
: a9 Z* p, n! _1 k) e1 {•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
9 \! {$ W  W  @+ x2 ^" v•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 `, h3 c$ R1 v* a* A) \/ A•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
! P/ n1 x% r& f! V4 q* y& q& q1 G•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications
Requirements:
( R- ~4 l, {! `* X•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
