Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:; E* q4 [! Q# k4 P+ y, y: Y" i, ]2 J
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
0 F: z2 |: G. i) }* Q•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.6 m7 D# S9 A- m" }9 l7 l
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.! b+ H3 i& _, z5 s: T
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
8 Y" X& S+ A6 s- M% ~, K•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 g) ]: I; v* a/ Q5 `/ v•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
( G5 z/ ^9 P/ F) U! }% \  P$ w•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.& f# I4 G& }8 A" @& w- U9 M2 W1 ^
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.9 t" r, h, |8 L# X  G) N9 Q7 q
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
/ @$ Q4 z1 ~3 D" H•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
! z/ O* E& {( o8 Z2 c•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
1 ~2 u2 D0 X+ I5 c- g0 i* }•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
, a; H) q4 m) @+ ^! i•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
. q. U0 t- N5 ^) Q1 q  g•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:
' c( m' |. o2 {3 J9 F) w5 Z•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
4 E4 Y! q, T+ S& X•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.   L$ ]' p; v$ d' h% D
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 0 M4 K- i' J: R) q
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.; Y- b4 h+ J( w1 K* _& m
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
