Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:1 ?" F" T2 K9 _6 m) L. t+ ?6 ^
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
. B0 f: f! ]7 b" l- ~• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.1 o5 U0 _9 x0 w: x( ~
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
% a: G, Y3 V8 W• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
+ ?! r, r9 E( e+ H• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
) U1 ~' k( _ ^) s! |* W# A• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
R# ~8 H1 n+ ]0 w! M% C3 Y• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.8 K, Q" l2 @6 u* W D' m
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.- u- X* v" ^3 H: _
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).- c! x: c- r' {! i& \7 K
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.# l/ ~4 a( q, k5 ~" l6 \
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
% O% O& I% u$ y- O• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.# F& q: g4 L' {
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs." @8 X9 d( {8 S" K' u I5 C
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.! W* v2 ?: Z4 H8 q5 z
• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications/ s! F9 K3 @* f" g; d* Q& L
Requirements:% O0 j% G% Y5 j+ n, ^6 f4 ?1 d
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. : o6 Q* J& r, s, N, `6 t" O
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
2 U& I9 z; G- k- q• Strong Union Relations experience required.
0 j$ E: T; e1 J4 E# W# b9 k• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
% ~& l( K* S! m% t6 U, l• CHRP Designation is an asset.
