Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
; x/ T! M: H5 X$ s- M: J# X4 F•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
" ]2 k  w4 p) o. ^•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
) H& D! q* R; u9 D5 Y•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
% T  n1 v1 n& {# I: W•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
; D1 V) F, z9 a•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
0 e/ @! k* c- ~•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

  @! A6 d$ \  b•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

; Y+ q  o# d" oRequirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
& p3 u; z2 l6 Q6 P+ N•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
, G+ X; m  _% M% W! |$ u+ {•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
8 V2 a5 M, }% w•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
# @  A& x. A: X•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
