Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
3 E7 E( M" R# iReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:2 u) s$ i  s' F6 W
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
( A5 v  |1 x& M+ H  V& w•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
- R# ?+ A  p6 h# a1 O0 W! m. y•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
; L3 B' W/ l5 \0 b•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.5 R' P  S" ~- J3 s$ ~
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
* o5 w& }4 |6 {0 |4 Z•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
: ?; V* w8 ~1 h  g( p7 M1 e4 b•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
& y; Q/ m! g, m- \0 i% `6 Z•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.! P- _& t( g6 V5 j& Y9 M2 c
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
$ M6 }! w$ z  h2 z: W; D•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.6 j* O& C. \; {+ u  D  M+ B9 P6 h
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
: B5 q3 u; {4 g•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.) ^& _: R# A  A' X% A; p- S8 r
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
$ n& \0 v$ s3 H/ f9 g& p% b% N! }8 J•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

7 L) F- e! n3 {' X1 ~3 iQualifications
+ W. P2 |/ d7 E1 P+ xRequirements:" l  L- E, L) I( D% h6 [. Y: c
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. - S8 z, y: Y. g* ]& I: r0 f4 T
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
+ f1 V0 X  k/ z$ ]6 e8 h$ h5 A•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
) f2 A: m$ ?  L: M•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
