Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:% X2 |$ Z0 f) z8 {
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
6 P" }6 Y: P" K3 e: ]• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.$ A) @" y7 q. J9 A
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.5 V- L1 y* `2 p9 D5 E
• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
V" r3 F* P6 T* J& Y$ ~• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
, O4 }# P E4 [, k• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
" ?7 b+ U' G1 s* h• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.5 d5 L8 s$ p; u6 a! G1 e" t% g
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
- z+ q3 P! Z; v* A/ o• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
1 a8 f& Y8 n# n) A• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
! _4 T( l; T" {' P3 E. k I, z• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

Qualifications
, ^! E* @0 }; B. B7 g& w/ f, nRequirements:! s3 e, }: Q0 C9 S- C: Y) _6 J& v
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. & [ I2 \7 C, V7 T# A# ?2 H
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
3 a& U% O' |( n0 U0 M7 W$ t* M0 }• Strong Union Relations experience required.
