Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
, K' {, k6 s2 [; z# rReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
( a' N$ Y+ x3 d% U" h% E6 d7 q•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.  y3 i& p4 ]8 U3 I0 E
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
, J% y5 s; W' h! y4 `/ X•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
. o) C: a0 i+ c0 B6 x8 V. O' ]1 `•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
$ e( |9 r; L3 d3 z1 K8 R•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
% C/ s7 w5 g  w•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
7 A$ _5 ^! e, m3 ?1 P4 J- G•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
5 b; ?4 ~- X# i+ b# T•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
7 g! D6 U# v' c0 y•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).5 S3 d: s" T  A8 W7 e( v
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program." n/ t5 p9 F- X# Q. _5 }2 N
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.4 @: d. Q* g' }% `

, @# i2 H+ }9 u* {0 }Requirements:6 A2 E3 B$ M" P* f! s
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. + S6 c: G+ N0 O' S- f
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. ! e7 \# C: ~& }" g( F/ O) G
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. $ B+ W8 \% Z$ _# j0 F
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
) w; Q6 m; Z) Z* B, Q, d3 F4 k•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
