Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist./ R- b. y: J4 T1 n$ h% K
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
! p' o- t+ L+ F# j- [' j: E: Y" V•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.6 \* d+ @3 m- h2 |/ W
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
3 @; G5 {$ y3 y# ]4 B$ i! u) \5 W. D7 X•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
# l" |6 Z. c: Q$ a1 R* d8 P. J+ Y  K9 i•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
6 ?! o7 v' [0 F/ K3 K6 ?" T# j•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
" G' v: p2 Y3 o! T•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
) B  ]( b1 h/ h0 e# W6 Z•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.  I, Y7 f  ~, l. m
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
: e  \3 }$ R( `4 I$ u  X! y: D•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
* m5 {, n# `* S5 ~•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program./ p! [7 k' L% y& T
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.# ~4 u7 s/ V  e9 Y' ^2 D" `; u
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.2 V, S8 j8 u- O+ @
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.' C3 U. Z% S$ W3 w% U

Qualifications
" F1 k. @7 Z- m! U' ~! ~Requirements:
, V3 h( {# |4 f" n•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. " m6 D, |0 f- K9 V. T9 f
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 0 F6 X; F$ f( Q4 q, [
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. - H. ]- ?; i+ A
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
& G( h6 ~. r# L2 @! v' O. y•        CHRP Designation is an asset.1 s  E/ K( r; i
