我和朋友从Hertz租车出去玩，然后加油的时候把柴油当汽油加了，以为那个diesel是那个牌子！我们当时买了全险，但是他们还是要我们付钱，怎么办啊~~~？？？？？？还有tow fee两百多，我们也到认了，那个全险是cover super stolen！！！这个难道都不cover？

打manager电话negotiate一下，说不定可以便宜。我之前的rogers手机带去中国，没有关闭蜂窝网络还是什么回来800多加，后来打电话哭诉给我便宜到300多块。

保险不COVER顾客不正当操作的错误，这个以前也有人做过，没办法，属于人为错误，保险和保修都不管，只能自己买单。

可以自己去DEALER 问问，做清洗多少钱，和租车公司比较一下，如果便宜问问他们能不能自己去修，然后还车，但是这样会多算租车的天数，还要自己拖车去DELAER，看总价了。

这是发生在一个月以前是事了，车当时他们就给我们换了一样开，当时告诉我们买了全险只要付tow fee就好了，但是具体多少不知道，然后今天通知我们要交那个钱。

如果有证据证明他们当时告诉你只需要付拖车费，就可以只付拖车费了。

柴油的管子比汽油的管子大很多，可以理解把汽油放進柴油箱；反過了就有點那個了。

我怎么听说的正好相反。
柴油发动机加了汽油更糟糕。

Gasoline in Diesel engine:
Depends on how much gasoline is put in.  When temperatures dipped below 25 degrees, truck drivers sometimes would add a small amount of gasoline to prevent the diesel from gelling.  Now commercial additives are available.

Diesel fuel has a lower ignition temperature than gasoline, allowing combustion to occur simply by compressing the air/fuel mixture.  Gasoline engines require a spark plug to ignite the fuel.  Too much gasoline will not allow the engine to work efficiently and quite possibly not at all.

Also, diesel engines use an injector pump to pressurize the diesel so it will form a fine mist when pushed through the injectors.  These pumps require the lubrication of diesel to continue to work.  Excess gasoline will cause failure in the injector pump and damage the injectors.

Fortunately, this one is almost impossible (notice we said almost), since the filler nozzles on diesel fuel dispensers are larger than those on gasoline pumps. The typical slow-fill diesel pump nozzle is 15/16" (24 cm)--fast-fill truck nozzles are even larger, well over 1-inch (25 cm), while the nozzle for a gasoline pump is about 13/16" (21 cm). Simply put, a large diesel spout won't fit in a narrow gasoline filler neck, while a smaller diameter gasoline snout will slip right in a diesel tank opening.

But if you do manage to get diesel fuel in your gasoline tank, (and this also is dilution dependent) the engine will probably not even start--and if it does, it'll run terribly and probably smoke like a chimney. Engine damage will probably be minimal to none, but a thorough (and expensive) fuel system flush will certainly be in order.
