               6201 – 49th St. Box 4497, Westlock, Alberta
Wage: $24.02/hour, 40 hours per week

•        Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
, S8 ^5 l# b4 l% v: N/ T•        Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
; P, J4 ^" j7 U9 \•        Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
•        Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
7 p/ C7 H9 z" p$ ?/ T•        Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
$ |6 z# g7 l- l8 N: ^•        Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
•        File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
•        Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
+ o0 K' Q9 D0 H+ Z& C0 ~+ }•        Mix paint, blend and match colors
. Q1 _9 o9 z' N! y9 t/ k6 M•        Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
•        Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
) J" W$ E+ l" J: h1 h. y•        Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
! B" V! S& H  h* z2 W+ Y•        Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
Education and Experience Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary school is required
' \: q9 ^6 y8 \( P•        Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program
or
- V: z0 H+ W# t5 o) t, bA combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
•        Alberta Trade certification for motor vehicle body repair (metal and paint) is compulsory
