Wage: $24.02/hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts: 8am -5pm, with a one hour lunch break

- c" G% v/ `9 e6 Z3 d0 |•        Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
6 D9 i3 h0 G0 g) T•        Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
2 w) g" u6 k. Y. G' i) K•        Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
0 O* X- j4 D5 O$ q•        Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
•        Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
•        Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
•        File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
•        Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
7 L# u/ u7 \& r) e( A•        Mix paint, blend and match colors
6 F6 G3 h2 I8 k. \( `6 T•        Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
•        Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
•        Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation
. a' H. e; N/ e•        Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
Education and Experience Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary school is required
+ n! J! n! N8 \% d# z4 m1 K•        Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program
or
A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
. g- n6 V8 l$ p  A; g4 H7 w4 ?•        Alberta Trade certification for motor vehicle body repair (metal and paint) is compulsory
