Scope and Purpose of Job
% W1 {7 \/ u6 [* E7 y2 jEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

0 J: K5 w0 j8 I5 F( b3 u% }•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
$ [% t- g) G$ q' w& ^* ^( `4 d•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
) h+ E, P+ b2 ?. D  W•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
. i! }) v" Y* i& l# B; ]•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
0 r5 E) q. H# U8 Vo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
/ G, ]9 \% V! f, k1 uo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
/ C6 n7 o6 T0 ?* l% }o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
; d- M* h4 A: R0 Y# u* E. G•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
- {$ ?& M/ w/ w  z, d6 G•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
/ e$ E( v# O% ?  y, {& p) ]. B2 X9 u•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
* ~1 w- @* c6 d( H: ~& N/ I9 v•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
