Electricians perform electrical inspection, maintenance, and repair activities on locomotives in the repair shop, on service tracks, or other railroad property. They have a good grasp of basic electronics, computer systems, fuel injector systems, and locomotive failures.

They are also generally responsible for tasks such as: + l! W) c% ^! j* z7 Z- X+ a

Candidates must be fluent in oral and written English and will be required to pass aptitude tests, an interview and company medical which includes visual acuity and hearing threshold tests.
