/ M# g0 ?8 @1 z' J0 xPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. , d1 Q5 m' Z* ~' e9 z6 O

0 L$ E2 _* @5 V6 v• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
3 `/ c7 w/ ^* _& Y3 C• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
+ A8 J1 i3 Z( S a! ^% S+ S• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately( g; Q8 m" [' K: e
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
- S6 r E% F7 w0 a, ?8 W: Z% H• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
, Y. Z- E& I; f• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
/ j& j& L; ?# o! j• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

* G- e0 l1 o! b3 z5 j• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events* }8 L8 `5 i5 S, c
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
) i: }% Q3 _/ r4 W; @* V• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person0 X6 R! }% W, E* z+ n. q' q% K
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
) {! _1 ~ f1 }* k' M• Good English writing and oral communication skills
! L! ]4 C U! S. d; Y$ ?- V• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients: [$ D# \$ N# s5 i+ V! p( @
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications:; r/ s9 g) p9 L
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 0 S% j; s. ^7 z- J, v0 l# ]$ v
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
% ]! O- d+ z8 t7 F) G• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
