Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker% A" M, G* f4 U0 H5 @. e+ Q% f+ L

- h# D+ T2 _0 t, ZPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. : t0 T; M4 S2 Z6 L" b

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
2 }. m" F4 J9 z# G; m• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
& Q% {4 c5 [0 x, f1 x• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately2 u- r3 a; L/ x& D' }1 B9 C' N& _
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
" C# b1 ]( K5 w• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings0 c# y0 @, D- l" C% J
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
& [* ~( C# D% N• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events: a' e' k* H/ B' m. Z& O W; n0 G
• Keep the reception area tidy and clean
. K# U1 t% ?1 p" B3 h• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters& C1 e' P1 U* y5 }
• Maintain front counter service files$ n1 L" \! k r; J" P4 K: Y' C+ a
• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Good English writing and oral communication skills
; M+ l' i8 \% C: F# F• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
9 g A4 [3 |- b3 q$ A• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

+ G5 Z! Z# D2 t+ m" J2 p• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
