The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community

• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
" y7 A7 n9 V- S: Z9 M2 U- m1 b• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
0 e5 [% C# r- U# v% E! T$ l/ p; ~• Behavior management
) t2 {  ]4 q5 ^- w+ B• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

+ k* ^" d3 N& HMinimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
- F: P9 I+ U+ K4 y• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
( m. y% j$ V2 N7 V• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
7 M7 |% i$ o" F3 f. Q• Standard First Aid with CPR
1 E2 Q: r/ @1 Q' t* f• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
