The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
9 I& ?! L" z1 g6 A6 I• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
: d  @0 s3 m9 m0 r, q  }: X• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
& m% M3 A+ k8 l6 {" F* n• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
8 s- [# b4 t2 x1 j• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

; C5 R6 {( B7 m& K+ L3 v" GEducation
6 L  I6 p5 R  p( Q  l! m! W/ [3 b• Completion of a high school diploma
# M) A- u* y) `+ ]& f• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
) m9 M/ H2 E4 m( w: U+ f• Standard First Aid with CPR
) p; p8 `) X1 n/ F0 d• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
  ^% }4 d3 P+ H, V• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
) K$ K: o+ k6 q6 B9 T• Experience with personal care
; X* v* \% I/ [( F" B• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
