The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
& T# P: n  N5 h  `! |• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
( J4 Q4 D7 ?: K# t. M/ |/ B• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
- E2 k) [! n2 h$ f# |0 _• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

% V+ J: c  L/ O, ]- |Minimum Qualifications:
Education
: w% [; J! w2 k1 x% ?. S• Completion of a high school diploma
/ G  u9 h: v) s+ ?: Z• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
- @6 j  I, z; P  G: T: E• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
% [) k) k( q9 Z+ [" p6 \5 c• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
  N" O3 P6 a& l, A: l5 t2 ?: b• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
