The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

7 }9 d: m: D0 c& U$ FResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
* \4 ~  v0 i$ m. O2 n6 }0 R0 R• Program implementation
9 m4 f' w% G4 a8 c" _, _: K7 z- F• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
# f2 f# W! {5 g1 U& }• Behavior management
2 E: `+ }) W  L" C• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Education
* J* I( G6 P, P6 Q5 M. j• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
0 V( h( C0 ?  e' W  q. ]Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

' \: D% w- a' N  U7 F+ A& m• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training

( s3 I. G1 A* J• Good verbal and written communication skills
( b$ v' {$ J% ~! E3 a3 c• Experience with personal care
7 W( k3 M# K! d* E. J% d8 R( r• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
! m+ I1 L) M0 SSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
