The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

- N  p9 @  |! H* t- Z! m: T• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
5 g/ T+ a( n. d0 n) K0 }8 }4 q; x• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
) D2 f5 w4 A, z/ u! ^1 m• Behavior management
4 Q/ S# m4 D# ?% c• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
& _* \8 T3 t7 H2 D/ I9 D• Completion of a high school diploma
+ X0 n# ]9 b# q• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR

• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
* o% F$ l$ Z$ S) i, x1 I• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
