The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

$ V* P% j& ]8 g3 R: dResponsibilities include:
9 c2 x1 x" j  ^3 A9 G• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
) c8 O. }. D. d# P) ?• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

- S# @! j5 A3 g1 M' y5 AEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
( b3 w- b* a/ q! f( q$ L& wTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR

& B; Z5 h$ A2 T+ e• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets

7 p; G" N  e' ^5 E+ [9 g' LSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
