The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
7 ?! d8 }/ W, V/ c) z4 ?• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
9 j/ B  l+ i9 t5 x0 A• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

& w, Z: N$ Y/ X% g0 s* ^: {) X  vMinimum Qualifications:
1 g. x; T: X9 E; B$ ~5 HEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
: y# c5 R6 T) O# @Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
4 v6 C: `. B) ~* x0 l8 p/ W- @• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
/ M6 F0 Z  v- |- K& w• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
7 `# }7 a2 `, O. Z7 ]• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
. K7 n+ Q' e0 P% o4 }• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
; _4 A& }; ^' p) D" lSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
