 Explore personal interests in arts and recreation

Regular Spring and Fall Group Sessions: runs on alternate Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m.
/ m* T" |/ h/ Y: Q# O# eSummer Group Sessions: 2 consecutive weeks in July from 9 to 5 p.m. daily( D3 H5 t( N1 I2 \. V
2 consecutive weeks in August from 9 to 5 p.m. daily

: i1 A( j. v9 wAsian youth aged 11 to 15, who are new immigrants or locally born Asian living in Edmonton or surrounding area.# [5 [( q0 A' e
" w: q0 c2 u( r; G& ]What is the cost of joining the T.A.N.G. program?
p5 F8 X }5 |1 w7 kIt is FREE and space is limited to 15 to 20 participants per group.

Volunteer’s Duties:' `1 Z& D) Y g+ f2 l
- N" }( `# L' z Distribute promotional flyers to schools, churches, communities and social services agencies ( V) v/ V! _8 H
 Facilitate and/or coordinate activity-based function such as to host a gym day or sport tournaments or workshop on personal growth development
) _) s: ~3 P8 N7 l) A' e* \' ]' R Facilitate or assist in ice-breakers and/or other activities* ?: n6 c& M. G9 O" _- p! L
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions9 L+ p$ P5 b+ S8 W" Z
 Research activities related to the sessions’ topic7 J- t H# n: i. j
 Enforce safety rules during program sessions and fieldtrips2 i. R( ~+ q0 e
 Assist in program planning; x" v1 l2 f$ @) Z, V0 E+ J& a) @( G

4 F6 _6 O4 Y( u On-going volunteers (we have volunteers dedicated themselves to the program for almost 4 years), z. @6 y0 M6 s, c: _! V4 q; D
 One time volunteers: minimum commitment is one seasonal session, i.e. 8 – 10 sessions in Spring, Fall or Summer3 F% ^+ U1 v$ f7 ?& g9 o

 Mature, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction from Program Coordinator

 A team player. s, Q/ L- u: h- n& p
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
