The Position
* r2 n9 F$ a/ J$ T; dThe Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit: A Capital Campaign for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, is looking for a
& [9 g. j+ t/ d9 q4 q; G( K& wskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
Duties and responsibilities
6 M0 }* {/ `! {( ]: T" I* mGeneral
; K# H# B" ]- K8 m4 W) Q! P6 o( X• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
& C" k" t! l. b4 z9 q( K! T• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
3 n: Z( T( ~9 o) \development, distributes and files same
• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
• Archives files
  E/ A6 B, _! y- C• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
0 \& {) t# Y$ [  z- l• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
8 f4 `- m4 L  j2 t, e' B. N• Appointment and meeting scheduling
• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
" @% Z. O7 Y7 U( ^  F1 P• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office

Accounting
• Accounts payable complete to checks
4 V$ q; C& u; ~$ b, ]0 S( B• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
( h6 d! J- [" U" i! jQualifications
7 z+ m+ `% M: Y5 ^# }: P• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
% R9 ]- [: I3 T' Z• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
1 \( l' m2 M2 s7 G5 c8 m4 vsoftware (Income Manager)
' ]+ U# x- K) {1 e* |5 a• Ability to flex time as required
& f2 z- ?6 M- |! v9 A• Clear criminal record check
• Requires personal vehicle
Hours of Work
( i9 w( }$ v% f' O• Part time – 24 hours per week.

630 CHED Santas Anonymous is spearheading the Capital Campaign to construct the Jerry Forbes Centre for
Community Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
Mission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,

Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
developing a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
2 f* j2 N% I$ xorganizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
and warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
