Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:$ E% ]2 z6 `; h. E! X! t4 R
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled; o( G) p# p p
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.! i% D! M: r( k1 D E+ v# }; ~
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.4 I% E6 h7 ?2 A" L6 p4 n) t% g
