Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:/ V g) t0 v+ ?
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;; E6 x( s! [! x1 S# g5 k( P) A
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.5 M) P/ b' H% k
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff./ m& e {# W1 L1 D
