1. It's cool." w4 m: a! m6 S% n" Y( q$ _9 G

(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard. 所以可以说:   ]4 V; S. S- c: i
    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool. $ Y, D! |1 s* ^$ L1 z9 T9 b1 _* v
    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)6 e$ u: h2 u4 z
+ z6 t3 f- c( W+ J/ G0 K
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。因此,也可以说: 2 e* u& I* W& j
She (He) was cool in the past.
2 k2 D7 f/ ~* ~  _/ R% y$ Z) g4 Y% @  I    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
5 G- J  ?( p. U1 k+ a' Y9 k    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人) ; e+ V- \( |; w! w% n) _/ w
( }# _5 U" V9 K2 a$ K
但是如果说:Are you cool?
She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
- V7 H% G+ h: m" a+ y& @    emotional.
" |4 T' }2 D' d- p7 h 8 E% E6 U7 X3 W+ k' v0 K
2. Are you trippin'?' _4 b% u0 P6 e  G
8 e0 a7 r: w) S1 t9 q5 }" n1 E' [
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
/ h* S. P3 c& ]: \/ f  d( r    They are trippin'. (= tripping)
) o/ ]! f0 c2 k  t3 {3 N' l# x5 }5 K    She (he) is trippin'.
1 s. S( t( d8 R: l0 NMr. A must be trippin'. - U" m4 K, ]4 [! F8 v( S
, L$ l; t4 \3 X, D, U" J8 p- r, L & U& i1 v# D; Q8 L5 \
3. He is a nerd/ l% [5 z! w! {2 C# a! I! l

(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
% f8 m; {! {7 ~% ]3 F" B7 D" T    He used to be a nerd in high school
: d6 z1 D/ s2 x- U2 P% S3 t% _1 k, W# B0 W; n4 e3 B
4. Yo baby
# Z; i- @6 R* ]2 d" }+ I9 f
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说:
% }" N* d& s/ [2 ~( D7 y# U5 r3 V    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
2 H- K6 `% X1 \- X! X( _May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
9 X! r8 N0 K# U2 |7 ^3 J0 \    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) ' G  k( Z7 v. o' G
; D# X) l) v% y. J- ~/ c, }& ]
5. She is a ho0 W: J; N# @) q: u: l

  E6 q$ A2 U; T0 {, u2 \. (a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
. L/ a% X& {1 i/ q! q8 Y    They are (were) hos.   Z. j- I* ~& s* a; l6 F
There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.) 8 j* w+ e# x4 O9 d: X

5 V% M8 }% n3 B$ A8 g4 j6. Catch you later!
. A7 |- U7 ~3 r. K! N* U5 J: t2 ^9 n4 H7 ^6 _
(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
3 \, y1 D! Y7 j: J0 L有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
  c3 M  @! F$ u# M& _(我要走了,再谈吧!)
