1. It's cool./ [( i7 F6 n5 F8 h& m! Q
8 ?, A8 R2 F$ d( n% R
(可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
( ?/ S  g" e6 K2 b$ H    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool.
8 w8 t8 Q, I; c! j3 o    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错), s) F" H% }! c( k; K1 m3 d/ v
% d# @& F  s# z) g& ^0 H4 L6 _
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。
+ I) [1 Q1 y1 S    She (He) was cool in the past.
/ P* l  h+ G( e6 c" {    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫)
& V) x$ }  Z0 V6 C. Y    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人) 8 F% c7 b+ Q" ]$ M# l8 q' N, X

1 V- @7 V4 ~, G% \- v* F) }7 j但是如果说:Are you cool?
    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
8 N. c. z# y( L: V    emotional.
6 f. K* F5 u! q! t 6 A. X" N5 a) G5 r
2. Are you trippin'?0 |- j6 r1 t( o2 ~& }

这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
$ E/ J1 g: f( x4 p    They are trippin'. (= tripping)
+ b6 ~' w- C! M4 J    She (he) is trippin'.
8 F, v% Y' G% ]/ xMr. A must be trippin'.
5 {& p# ]1 i3 A4 l2 @; {+ c5 g  f 8 z' ~$ z% ]/ M8 Y, `+ q, ~* ~% Z
3. He is a nerd
" c( |* `( a6 R- B- U
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
! v% }% d4 |& W    He used to be a nerd in high school
$ ^4 G, T8 Z& L: b* A
5 f9 m7 r8 u, a1 h4. Yo baby- S0 N: J% u8 O. @) z
4 w+ V7 t. I5 r; S. r1 X
Y- l+ ^* B3 A
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: / q2 p3 R+ _& {7 _, r
    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
F$ n6 s' ^* q) F' q
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before. 6 D+ r" p4 ^; S6 f2 h: q6 ^+ @& B
诸如: 1 I+ U* ]/ P5 @# [
    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?) % J4 \# A5 p5 }/ n! I* b! C( U7 D
* E* _+ c; j% T8 q9 r% [, `
5. She is a ho$ a5 J* e$ B* A8 `" K
: D4 k3 X5 _' w8 W  ?! u; U
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。 ho 也可用复数: 8 j( w7 X+ ?, Q5 I
    They are (were) hos.
1 P! g+ I; e3 `% G( l    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.)
9 m0 E5 Z" J  p& B( ~+ u7 R+ |7 e% {/ A8 U4 r
6. Catch you later!
, e( s! I  P  J% L! B. Z( ]* z/ _. N1 m4 y8 X" a0 x, H
(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等)
7 F4 Z4 ?( H8 o9 o5 v" B有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. 意思就是:I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again. ) i( A3 A1 L$ Z# V$ n. y$ S( G
