Job Description
- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
5 g, Y, o1 ?/ x-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
* l/ Y0 \0 d  u- provide support to ISP staff
- I# h/ Y: M7 t' o- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
. J& l" [9 q+ g! T4 t( {- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
2 u) J# S5 T& [  p+ }$ k- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
: D( a: ~- Q4 _$ j3 u: G- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
; j2 m- ~% t. x4 M+ q% r( ?7 ~8 J: T- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
2 S. T* m- j5 o3 b- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
- other duties as assigned

3 I% p0 T" j4 ?2 I4 qQualifications
2 p; G: ?- o" M% U1 G/ Q- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
& s/ J( J2 r: c4 d. f- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
8 \0 \6 p5 q3 e# M. I# ?* M- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
) A' F1 i9 k# v4 ^, u$ _0 n8 q- good interpersonal and people skills
- good organizational and coordination skills
