- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
- Q- I8 I/ c$ o: d- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
- provide support to ISP staff
4 U; P2 C- [+ P. u4 y- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
! S( X+ x8 D# m0 @/ V- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
* \8 e* U. H8 ]" {% W  X( a- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
" d* G) J0 J" n- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
- other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
$ p. L9 S) r% y- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
! O1 h9 {! q  H; }7 o) n* p8 O9 ?8 [- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
* j$ b4 @8 m# Z- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
" ^/ z. y) s1 ?+ P. C4 b: G- good interpersonal and people skills
- good organizational and coordination skills
- valid driver’s license
