" B5 @! |) f6 n" ^- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
) T; r6 C' o7 V, } i {% r- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
5 g0 v& O7 k$ _& b' f2 Y- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP' K0 u/ J- ~+ c( G [3 D
- provide support to ISP staff
7 Y+ ?0 z/ Q) D X7 G8 q3 D8 X- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members2 I, Q8 `# H2 s0 `) q
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities( y& I# |4 w) w; @
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated. w0 {5 A) i+ |' F
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants; b9 v% f! T. k$ F! r5 G G/ ~
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals- K, b9 ~% m' L" B% Z% d9 _$ u4 t
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder7 \, P, H* h7 `/ {# v: b1 `
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.7 Q+ r" k2 g1 [' t
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

# \8 U8 v ^5 l6 u3 R9 @0 \- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
9 n" u t2 r8 X- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available! D% o: e2 M H/ |6 z) F
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
" e3 I* p" x Y7 G1 b- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
n( L/ s& ^6 z. h( L( c E; S- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
