: v3 Q4 \" d' t+ C0 u- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
9 w+ e! N: c3 x! _; g2 m- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
, W- M9 n( P0 G: v! z- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP& ?' a+ L! v3 A
- provide support to ISP staff
# y1 Z: o& ~( \- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
, {5 a7 B h( W/ h* n6 C: G- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities7 `9 w- q! P2 g* d$ } j
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
5 H9 m [+ `: I8 X- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
: ^- s6 K, E c; S; F0 t- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals$ T# ]- C9 |9 q5 e" ^# Y
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder6 }8 e5 F. f& Y$ s& b: K& d- U7 F( X
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
' \3 G% ^3 H% f7 @- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

Qualifications
. |9 R( T& S) X' k% r, W4 }# F- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
# Y% e! S: `# q- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
4 O# e1 J: y6 S5 Z7 \( K5 b+ T- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers9 j) p. B) [" a* [6 E m8 z
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
/ }" E0 O8 G* B0 X; R- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
