Working closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

JOB DUTIES:
* c9 R  _; E( G8 p  C& R# f+ N        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
        Operational communication with all Transport providers
        Booking of delivery appointments when required
        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
. s, V9 K( O- J. T: F        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
1 j/ i; r+ q! Z+ o% g3 R        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
        Special assigned projects;

/ n$ p$ r, l( H2 a6 GQUALIFICATIONS:
        High School diploma or equivalent;
        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
, P" X9 p5 {4 F, O( |7 ^" _        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
% M; N7 `" I0 W. J2 W- @1 m        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
5 |: G& b9 g8 l( }  V        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
        Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
% W) ?2 K1 a6 F: G        Strong organizational and analytical skills.
