% q# |9 z5 W; SWorking closely with the distribution and warehouse teams, this position is responsible for load planning and balancing for Southern and Central Alberta

/ T( c" o! }: J0 D# ^JOB DUTIES:
        Balance loads efficiently in order to effectively utilize line haul trailer capacity;
9 x9 h$ R+ N& T$ w: f, \! ]        Load Tendering & Scheduling of Commodity Shipments
3 o1 r( g/ x  G        Operational communication with all Transport providers
9 u; P$ |+ T' L/ V& f" k. {% B9 F        Booking of delivery appointments when required
        Make recommendations in order to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs
        Various reporting functions, including cube analysis, carrier performance & compliance, etc.
7 k, e9 Q- e9 x        Liaison between Route Settlement, Warehouse and Distribution;
0 c# e/ }/ l; F3 @4 C5 H: R/ I        Special assigned projects;
        Other duties as assigned.

6 I( }# j1 Y5 _QUALIFICATIONS:
        High School diploma or equivalent;
6 p8 m' ^; {8 T5 _  \        Post secondary education related to business or accounting is an asset;
        Experience working in a Distribution or Warehouse setting;
        Experience in the transportation industry an asset;
        Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
$ F1 X1 _- X( R  @3 `& q& n        Self motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and establish priorities.
2 t8 T1 n6 u. u" e        Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
        Strong organizational and analytical skills.
        Dependability and proficiency in current position.
