 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers

 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.8 p3 R2 p5 s9 f- A
 Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.

 Deliver program overview to potential clients, as well as other interested parties.

 Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.

 Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.
