An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a York University student last week.

Police charged Brian Dickson, 29, with first-degree murder in connection to the suspicious death of Qian Liu.- u% s4 \* l0 Q
# O% H7 n5 y6 xThe 23-year-old was found dead in her basement apartment late last week. ; u+ M' ?) _: E4 v3 m( c$ D( _
5 H' F9 C" Q7 O1 j+ S+ z/ MIn a brief news conference Wednesday, police announced that Dickson had been arrested, but appealed to media not to publish his photo.
