FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 o8 b7 ]5 [9 t/ d+ Y- x0 p& P•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
3 E$ w( J+ N% x- v+ j•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

9 d  w6 w: ?# e! Z# v/ j$ YSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
+ E8 J3 r# b* h$ e! A* q. Q% [8 i4 H; N•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
5 `/ G+ D% y) f. @•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.

•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
•        Willingness to maintain proficiency by embracing new technologies.
