Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
2 I7 U8 L1 I7 T# c; NUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team) `# N, y M$ ]: b$ a5 M9 f
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal1 t% A$ p4 @0 N' O- K1 D1 h2 _7 `
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.+ Q1 z- y6 Y3 Q# ~& G0 \

Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services' V) ]6 @4 E7 r8 w, t$ U8 J
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
- l' `: @2 W' w! m( A% @4 ~School)
9 O ]5 C3 {7 \" _+ R6 CMust have supervisory experience; Q5 h* y) d# l5 F8 r/ p2 S& D
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system2 o/ F" o- g! V$ R" ?/ b4 x: z5 W
Must be computer literate
* E* M. m. e4 `8 J' |Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract., X/ P7 @9 t# b, Q W9 ]% Z
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
p) j$ H/ X @ Z$ c$ g0 AMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
+ ~; _: t& v6 {, ]& u/ C# N& U! CMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already* V$ o$ y" r# p
establish team.
