Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
# {* ^9 J' f- y/ v1 uUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team2 `3 S" n) k/ p( S2 U
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
1 f( O0 p. {9 h2 |+ |3 k& DMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).7 a; j0 m6 D! T
1 ?- _: p6 J v7 w, A: O7 oTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification5 I" o, r, r: t7 z( G3 b4 n; m
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
4 n3 e2 y* P- @1 l7 D& FMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
4 c7 D5 R/ O7 E" w( ZSchool)" g. m0 G4 Y j" M0 [% Q
Must have supervisory experience
6 O( i, X% o; h$ L7 l0 U3 AMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system" V& ~5 _4 D( m- u
Must be computer literate& K9 E% f6 M" g3 s- b& n' I
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.& t) z. m# A' H, |7 `# W- i, U
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
- |1 X3 ]7 W7 r; P( wMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills1 j" [' A. e. G9 C" u0 ~
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already5 U% Z8 I( x; g! X# ]
