Position Summary
2 ^* H( X. e$ Q' S* O' r0 U6 U. c8 CUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team6 o/ k: p9 @$ e5 e
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal% P/ @6 ~0 n# N6 @. ^$ x
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).* ~7 S4 }/ b" j- j% O/ Q" \( [
$ ]: w) \/ h( h+ U* u5 \, O6 KTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit." Q$ J: C( B1 k( f- Y% H, `
$ j' F# p8 p" L" r, P) k3 FJob Qualification4 G, k. n# m- Z/ x3 K6 d" C' N
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
$ U i6 L9 R3 n+ L, o# J0 c, G& T! _Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s1 S2 H- h+ ^9 A) ^& ~. a. U
School)
2 s5 I8 m* [( GMust have supervisory experience
7 w: ~# e( K9 k; S9 x# TMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
* {1 p3 ]9 \5 l+ }! B6 IMust be computer literate* R) k) l, {; b$ D( a
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.% a& b+ J+ V! I; r" `2 }4 a8 @# B! q
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network; Y$ X1 R+ l+ g2 H4 w
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
& `- ^# T7 D: Q, V- K4 TMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already" u7 I/ c+ j1 ]. d0 D
