Position Summary
! k. J, q# G: D' V; M9 Q1 m' HUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
4 {1 s/ t/ H3 y' `player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
2 [8 v( j6 Q. w+ H) eMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).; A- s% ~3 F6 _% O! z
& V1 _, X g/ `6 I2 DTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.6 r, J1 @# M D* r

Job Qualification& A9 D/ D) M% E- b
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services8 f8 b( Q% m! i3 c* p) r4 i
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
# O. ^2 D# p# @School)# W: O: z ^8 u- B
Must have supervisory experience$ k" F. z' C2 l
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
) B. f# d& }: S/ I8 aMust be computer literate2 S3 d7 D2 E6 B9 b" z0 G
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.$ s0 l2 c6 n9 w3 O& X7 ^4 O0 e% w
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network5 \2 X8 `! T- O# S4 b
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills& m- z# Y- s2 ]# F# c- B9 Z9 ~9 k% ^
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already$ C9 q! k# @5 Q4 o6 F
