Alberta College is governed by an independent Board of Governors 7 O9 |: m7 a* A( q
drawn from a wide cross-section of the community. Established in 2 Q4 o8 W, l0 V8 |* l e
1903, Alberta College predates both the City of Edmonton and the
# ]' M8 n0 b8 A9 n( x0 ZProvince of Alberta. It was founded by concerned citizens as the
' J& Z. K4 s$ A& E: o9 sfirst post-secondary school in the area, on land bequeathed by ! f( y8 o/ B1 E5 N

College has always distinguished itself as innovative and

the first of its kind in Canada, providing opportunities for
