The Family Law Office, a program of Legal Aid Alberta, provides family law legal services and representation to low-income clients. The Family Law Office in Edmonton is looking for one full time Legal Assistant to join its existing staff.

* q, }* t0 {9 B, r; |& P6 O/ UReporting to the Administrator/Office Manager, the Legal Assistant is responsible for providing legal assistance and support to staff lawyers on client files.

Qualifications:

4 d4 _' H' w; SThe successful candidate will have a post-secondary diploma or certificate from a recognized legal assistant program; a minimum of 1 - 3 years experience as a legal assistant in the area of family law, or a combination of experience and education. 5 p4 W/ k. S0 H- W, g5 ?

Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are required to meet the needs of this demanding position.( @1 u; ?/ S4 W# }8 i) \$ X+ T
