其实，看西人医生也不是大家想像的那样难。只要您掌握了一些常用会话和基本语汇，看医生时就不难交流。
会话一：Make an appointment:
 Hello. This is Leo Lee. I'd like to make an appointment to see Dr. Robinson.
 Certainly. What seems to be the problem?

 I'd like to have my annual check-up.
 Fine. When would you be available to come in to see Dr. Robinson?

 Any day next week in the morning would be great.
 How about next Thursday at 10 o'clock?

 That sounds great. Thank you.
 We'll see you next Thursday Mr. Lee. Goodbye.

Might Ask You
o What seems to be the problem?
o How can I help you today?
o What can I do for you?
o How long have you been experiencing these symptoms?
o Are you in pain?
o Can you describe the pain?
o Does the pain get worse when you do something?
o Are you taking any medication for the pain?
o What prescription drugs are you taking?
o Do you have any allergies?
o Are you pregnant?
o Is that uncomfortable?
o Does that hurt?

Seeing a doctor for back pain

D:  Hello, what's the matter?
P:  Good morning. My back is killing me.

D:  How long has your back been bothering you?
P:  I've been having pain for the last couple weeks.

D:  Do you have any history of back problems?
P:  No, this is the first time.

D:  Are you taking any medicine at the moment?
P:  No, just an aspirin from time to time to get rid of / take away the pain.

D:  OK. Let's have a look at your back. Please take off your shirt.
P: Alright.
