5 Y k6 |7 ], y2 LShell Canada has confirmed to Mix News that a death has occurred at the Shell Albian Sands Jackpine oil sands mine 75 kilometres north of Fort McMurray.% p9 L2 d( |$ O# \/ E8 p; R

Emergency crews responded to the scene at around 7:15 am, and the individual was transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre where they were pronounced dead.) D$ \2 S: Y# ~+ v' B, u) ^

RCMP are on scene and the name of the deceased has not been released.
