; C$ S2 X0 [8 C" G' @( T Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
 Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
 Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
 Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
 Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
# X3 J8 H* ~3 p7 u( P' D- c Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
- W7 t( ?' C# |+ B0 u& k Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

# ?7 J7 G; `- o7 H1 pQualifications
 Social work degree or diploma
 Current RSW designation preferred   
0 @* \) C* `* F* d Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
( w+ I: x# Z8 Z Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
 Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
 Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
2 z0 `  h# u4 n. a7 V Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
