: H7 U) I$ v9 F: v$ DAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)4 m- Y, Y% K, x( X
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required# I$ ^; y3 R7 r, X+ s7 H
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred6 e/ C7 y: P4 J9 ? h. R
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
# ?5 `" p" J' J7 uSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
* n) n' n d, d7 Y0 HKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred: K4 M$ t' U+ `# o. P! r% C: T
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
