Duties
/ |/ T: d. a5 g L4 J: HAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation). [! @1 \' s7 L1 N; ~
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required% {5 {7 W' h8 x# X5 h8 _; W
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed+ Y1 \. y0 n3 p, T
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred4 q( `; G2 W Z
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
, m6 V; j" P9 g5 iSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset

Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
