0 `4 Q( w( Q' Y0 H" iAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)1 I. Q7 R: y# \0 G- R2 S( ?
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required- g. s9 G% s/ C( U R
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed6 o$ T. b! N$ T. l; `( K9 Y5 t
Performs related tasks as needed: I% j; Y/ I! l
Qualifications
6 [7 F! |+ n2 [2 S4 d& ?; nDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
* r) n$ e1 Z, A' ?8 w: ]Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred8 x+ c" K" _' k3 R* m8 e+ b* M* ~
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
. e' k: S- m# z6 k. }( X, \3 r' M: NKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred

Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
