Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
1 f' t' X9 x" j$ I/ z■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
2 k, P6 X Z: t3 s7 f0 s■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
! g4 X% g% @) J6 [■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
v) g) ^+ a$ j) C3 k# @- ^6 O* CExperience and Education:' L4 J3 I' w P& p; | O2 j* v
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
' C# s6 j7 T. t+ E: S. T5 u■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
6 c) [, i4 y, D) f+ A: [* ]■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
* W# a% q: _: r& |; R■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
8 E' R0 Z* f# z( h# ]■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;/ C4 X: c: d8 x- u5 @
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices. c; @. `- G: b) o; u- b
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.% h2 g$ y- t" V( C- H _4 n
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.4 n/ C1 @& g e( K0 m m
