- f: m9 K7 h( l, R* l/ N■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations., Y) w# @& o: d* n
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.: G& i) z( ?7 e
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships" k' K3 \/ `5 F, Y
Experience and Education:
+ e% A2 `& ^$ E3 t! M■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.) [# F0 t' h8 E9 a
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.% o7 V' X2 G' b& ~" w
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
! n3 X1 X2 w8 ] x. }■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;3 M1 K, Z+ w8 g: \& U
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;' s, d" U) N" e: c$ M/ @9 x' z
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
( l) I9 F% N) e■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.' r% y, P# @$ a. t/ O; f, |+ U
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
